The Reunion is just upon us. I'm sure all that are going are excited like us. If anyone has any questions about this weekend or anything just call us or email us.

Reunion will start Saturday 6:00 pm at Mallozzi's

1 Hour open bar for draft beer, wine and soda.

Remember that the signature cocktail for the reunion.. THE SABRE ANNIHILATOR is NOT included in that open bar but will be $8.00. What's in it? Tiger's blood and Adonis DNA.. DUH. Buy one and get a souvenir sticker or button or napkin or something to prove you drank it and WON !

Tickets are required. Anyone without a ticket will be asked to leave and attend other festivities that are taking place that weekend.

Sunday at Tops Brunch at 11:00 am. If you plan on going please let us know because we need to have a seat for you. The brunch is NOT an event being sponsored by the reunion committee. So bring your money! lol

With any event I've planned you always save a few spots just in case someone couldn't get a ticket on time. We have a few spots left and if you still need a ticket to the Reunion please talk to myself or to Maria Christou-Esposito at Tops. We'll try and hook you up. :)

The senior pictures to the right are the classmates attending the reunion on May 28th. Remember we also are getting together at Tops on Sunday at 11:00 am to have brunch together. This is not being paid for by the reunion committee just a FYI. If you want to go just give Mary a heads up so we can plan on the number of seats we need.

We want to thank everyone who has helped out, supported the reunion committee, bought a ticket to this event, and who has donated to help this reunion happen. Without all of you we wouldn't be getting together to have a party for US!

Hello everyone,

Well the reunion is really coming together. In just a short time we will all be together again enjoying a nice party for US! I have put up the senior pictures of those who are coming to the event. I know of more classmates that are coming as well so check back on the page to see who is coming.

Hi there …
I wasn’t actually part of Class of 86. I graduated in 85 on a special program for foreign exchange students. However – as far as I remember – You guys looked the best, so I have just bought tickets for the reunion for my wife, Marie, and I.
Most of you probably don’t remember me. I was a foreign exchange student attending Schalmont High in 84-85. For you it may have been just another year at Schalmont. For me – being a long way from home at age 15 and meeting a lot of new friends – it is a year I will always remember as something special.
After Schalmont I went back to high school in Denmark – after all I had only just turned 16 when I returned from Schenectady. I went back a few times to Schenectady – I still remember a crazy trip with some of the gentlemen from Class of 86 to Lake George one summer .
Since high school I have done all kinds of crazy things. I have studied Math at The University of Copenhagen. I have worked as a dealer at the first casino in Copenhagen. I have studied Sports at The University of Copenhagen, worked as physical trainer for the best professional soccer team in Denmark, trained our national team in golf, I have worked as a ski instructor, a high school teacher and … tons of other stuff.
Now I am living with Marie and my twin daughters, Emma and Anna (age 1 ½ years), in the centre of Copenhagen (the capitol of Denmark). I am a partner in a communications agency in Copenhagen.
I apologize for my English (I should have listened more carefully to Mr. Jacobs ), but I’m really looking forward to seeing you all!

****I am looking forward to our 25th reunion to enjoy an evening of sharing with the group of people I spent the first half of my life with. Whether close to some and not to others doesn't matter, I was influenced by everyone around me and anticipate a great time visiting with all. I must admit curiosity is a big part but aren't others curious as well? Can you believe John and I are STILL married, twenty years later? And for the most part still like each other ;) We have tales of living in the wild west, Utah, cowboys, indians, wild animals, you name it we've lived through it. I encourage everyone to attend, a gathering like this may not happen again. Take the time to share your life experiences and remember the wonderful environment we grew up in. Cheers!

We have a block of rooms reserved at the Belvedere Hotel next to Mallozzi's. The block is good for May 25th until May 29th. Due to a wedding, the entire hotel is booked for May 29th, so if you are staying the night of the reunion, you will need to check out by 11:00 am on May 29th. The block is only good for 30 days before the event, which means you have until April 28, 2011, to reserve your room. After that date, any rooms that have not been booked by our guests will be released to the open public.

The group room rate is $125 per night. The hotel phone number is 518-630-4020. Tell them that you are a guest of the Schalmont HS Class of 86's 25 year reunion.

One Hour OPEN bar!

I would like to announce some exciting news from the reunion committee - we will now be having an open bar at the reunion from 6:00 pm till 7:00 pm! Thanks to a very generous donation to our reunion fund by a few classmates, the committee has decided to include an hour of open bar at the event. Mallozzi's offers three different levels for open bar and we will be providing the first level which is the "draft beer, wine, & soda" choice. If anyone is interested in donating additional money towards the open bar we could increase the choice to a higher level instead. This reunion is going to be a very special event and it will be due in great part to the donations received from all of our generous classmates.

An Exciting Announcement!

Hello everyone.

I have a great announcement. The first 25 tickets sold will be entered into a raffle to win a nice prize. So if you have one of those tickets we will announce on May 28th which is the winning ticket and you do need to be present to win.

We are selling tickets right up till May 14th. We will NOT be selling tickets at the door so please make sure you get your tickets before May 14th.

It's going to be a great night at Mallozzi's. Phyllis and I were over there tonight completing details for the event. I updated the menu that we choose for everyone and we think it's going to be to everyones liking.

Please remember that we also need photos from K-12 grades for our special presentation that Kim VanHoesen-Sierzega is putting together. We also would love for everyone to bring something for our memory table from those years.

We are currently looking for old photos of the good old days for our class from Kindergarten to Senior year for the reunion. If you have any fun, interesting, cool pictures that we can borrow that you can send to us to scan them to us we would really appreciate it. Hello fellow 1986 classmates! "Buon Cibo, Buon Vino, Buoni Amici" which, translated into English, means "Good Food, Good Wine, Good Friends". Join us for this celebration of our class on May 28th. The reunion is coming up soon and will be here before you know it. Thank you to those who have RSVP'd already. It's going to be a fun night for all of us.

The night will include a delicious all you can eat buffet at Mallozzis which includes the following menu below.
